Meet the Newest Arrington

WOW!! Where to begin? I guess with a heartfelt apology to our 3 loyal readers and to our blog itself for our neglect. SO MUCH has happened since the last post, a mere 6 months or so ago haha. I don't think we ever officially announced on here that Mindy was expecting, well she was and just to get a time frame on our neglect, Tuesday night, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Our little joy was a mere 5 pds 11 oz and 18 inches long. ( i still can't believe that was a pound more than my niece Adah) She gave us a bit of a scare with jaundice, low blood sugar, and regulating her temperature, but even through it all she brought both of us Joy like we had never experienced. Those of you who are parents know what i'm talking about. There is no way to describe the love that is felt without actually experiencing it first hand. Something just changes, and you realize you would do anything to ensure their happiness and safety, even at the cost of your own. It is the closest i can come to comprehending the love that our Heavenly Father has for us, and to further understand how much he cherishes each of us. Our little girl (Elsie Joy) really is our heart and joy.

The Gift of Flight

Hey there all. In the fall Mindy and I had the incredible opportunity to go flying in a go-cart.. yup you read right, flying in a go-cart. It is called a "powered parachute," and basically is a go-cart, with a giant fan on the back and attached to a parachute. Beats me how that works, pretty sure it's black magic, but we went for it anyway and it is a BLAST. We flew through canyons, chased antelope flew over mountains and somehow landed safe and sound. Needless to say, Clint is now hooked. But thankfully he has an amazing wife, who has given me the gift of flight for Christmas. The man who took us up, happens to be one of the few instructors in the state, and soon i will be buzzing your houses and soarin the skies in a go-cart all by my lonesome. Scary thought i know, but I am stoked nonetheless.

Slackers

Wow, where to begin. As you can see we have been a bit, well, lax in our blogging duties, and obviously much has happened since our last posting about 7 or so months ago. Mindy is off the scooter and walking all by herself now, (sniff) we're so proud (sniff.) She is currently going to school for her masters in violin performance her at the U. Come to find out Clint had a little ankle break of his own, (hairline fracture) but was exceptionally tough as always. HA. between his knees and the ankle he often feels like a 92 year old man, especially when stairs are involved. We have now been married just over a YEAR!!!! Crazy how fast time goes. I love ya sweets. I will try and split some some posts and pics now by theme-ish kinda format, and hope you enjoy, well actually i hope you have something better to do than check out our lowly blog, but since you're here anyway, cheers.
